We had a great two-night stay! The food was absolutely outstanding, especially the roast from the Sunday lunch menu, and the copper bath in our room was a luxurious touch. Plus, we loved the exceptional quality of the linens and towels!

Just a fine choice for a swift stopover in Alkham with real value for money. If breakfast is included, go for it—great quality.

The Marquis of Granby impressed me with its quirky charm. The room radiated personality with unique decor. I loved the cozy corner perfect for relaxing. The food topped the charts, especially the breakfast options. everything tasted delicious and fresh. Staff members created a warm atmosphere, making me feel welcomed throughout my stay. the heating in the room left much to be desired. The radiators struggled to keep the room warm, and a couple of lamps didn’t work, which detracted from the comfort level. The location was also quite convenient, making it easy to explore the surrounding area.

the marquis is a fantastic spot for a getaway. the deluxe double room was magnificent, and the food was superb. the staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to help. it's easy to find and perfectly located in the valley. this has been my go-to hotel for repeat stays, and i can’t wait for the next one!

Friendly staff greeted us warmly upon arrival, and our top-floor room was tastefully decorated and equipped with all necessary amenities. Dining was a highlight, with a delightful meal featuring a steaming wok of prawns. however, prices on the menu felt a bit steep for what was offered. The busy atmosphere led to slower service, but it didn't detract from our experience. A short drive from Dover made it a convenient stop on our journey.

the location was awesome and the food was superb! the car park is a big bonus since not many places have that for parking. the staff were friendly and very helpful, made us feel welcome the whole time we were there.

The heating in the room wasn't great. the radiators didn't work well and it was kinda chilly. also, there were a couple of lamps that didn't seem to work.

My stay was delightful, as the tastefully decorated interiors created a cozy atmosphere, and the dining experience was truly exceptional. Breakfast offered a delicious variety, and the overall quality of the meals was impressive, particularly the gourmet dinner options. The staff were friendly and demonstrated engaging service that made our time there enjoyable. the location could use better noise insulation, as it was a bit disruptive at times.

We stayed for one night and loved the quirky rooms and the fabulous restaurant. The food was wow-worthy, especially the kofta scotch egg. Great ambience overall!
